Debates continued

7:23. My next impression: Senator Obama was doing really well until he reacted to Senator McCains comments on taxes. At that point, he seemed turn stumble a little.
7:26. Senator McCain appears very stiff to me. Like he is uncomfortable, this isn’t anything new though-I think he always looks stiff.
7:30. On direct [...]

Debates

I’m watching the first debate and my very first impression is that McCain isn’t paying attention to Obama when he’s talking. When they split the screen, McCain is looking down or away. That bugs me.
I don’t know why.

The Mojave Experiment

Someone sent me a link to the Mojave Experiment: http://www.mojaveexperiment.com/
This is amusing, and good marketing on their part.
Unfortunately, if you’re smart enough to realize it - there’s a huge hole in this campaign - they are showing Vista on a Vista compliant and ready computer.
Vista looks and acts great as an OS, if you have [...]

Who will watch the Watchmen?

Morticai’s Journal, August 4th, 2008. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their wastes and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout “Save us!”… and I’ll look down and whisper, “no.”
Sorry - couldn’t help myself. That’s one of the opening lines from the ‘Watchmen’ [...]

Star Trek: The Experience is closing its doors

After ten years in Vegas, Star Trek: The Experience is being decommissioned.
Sorry - couldn’t help but use some Trek talk there.
Scifi.com’s SciWire is reporting that, as of Sept. 1st, the Vegas attraction for Trekkies and Trekkers young and old, will be closing up shop. Quark’s bar will be serving it’s last drink and The [...]

Stargate’s Don S. Davis Has Passed Away

Don Sinclair Davis, our own ‘General Hammond’ from Stargate:SG1, passed away from a heart attack on Sunday, June 29th.
Mister Davis was a veteran character actor, best known for his appearances on some of my favorite shows including: Stargate SG-1 and The X-Files. He also played Major Garland Briggs in Twin Peaks but I never [...]
